Accounting Associate

The primary objective of an Accounting Associate is work with both the AP and AR sides of accounting. On the AP side you would assist with all processes related to servicing our vendors. This would include payments, audits of financial statements and shipping reports. On the AR side you would assist with account management of all customer channels, posting deposits and answering customer inquiries.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organize Vendor invoices and packing slips and enter into the system.
  • Review statements and check that all invoices are present, file invoices and statements, check receipt register, and communicate with Vendors on payments
  • Work with buyers and receivers to resolve errors
  • Assist with account management of customer accounts.
  • Assist with customer and vendor inquiries via phone, and email.

Expectations

  • Maintain an acceptable level of accuracy, speed and efficiency
  • Be proficient in BC and other systems related to researching accounting information
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Respond to internal and external customers in a timely matter
